VistaCare Hospice/Atlanta is looking for angels - the earthly kind! You can add your gentle touch, warm heart and administrative skills to the care we offer terminally ill patients. If you have minimum of 4 hours per month that you can contribute, VistaCare would like have you join our team as a volunteer.

We offer two types of volunteer opportunities:

1. You may visit patients with life-limiting illness in their homes, nursing homes or assisted living facilities to give your companionship and emotional support. You may also visit patients at our in-patient units in Emory University Hospital or in Emory University Hospital Midtown.
2. If you’re well organized and enjoy office work, you may provide administrative assistance to the staff at one of our in-patient units or at our offices in the Cumberland Mall/Galleria area. General office work will include filing, photocopying, collating materials we give to patients and answering phones.

No special skills are required to volunteer at VistaCare, and you will receive training for the work you choose to do. We are required to do background checks and administer TB tests for all volunteers. In return, you have the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of people.

Please note: The address given is for our office only. VistaCare serves patients in north DeKalb, north Fulton and all of Cobb County.
