The Anir Foundation concentrates on youth projects which focuses on global community issues, specifically: Teaching Tolerance, Cultural Heritage Preservation, Appreciating Diversity, Valuing Our Environment, HIV/AIDS and Healthy Life Education.

Description

The Anir Foundation and its Academy on Tolerance, Peace and International Awareness (ATPIA) are a non-profit, non-sectarian NGO that is 100% volunteer staffed. The goal of ATPIA Internship Program is to provide North American undergraduate, graduate and professional persons with positive volunteer service opportunities in Southern Africa (South Africa, Swaziland & Zambia). ATPIA raise the awareness of issues affecting the globe such as HIV/AIDS, homelessness, ecology, and youth related issues. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and on an academic or career track that matches their internship placement.
