Mission Statement

AFI DOCS Documentary Festival is a five-day international Festival held each June in Silver Spring, MD and downtown DC. AFI DOCS 2015 will run June 17-25, 2015.

Description

Here at AFI DOCS we're inspired by the dedication and support that our volunteers exhibit year after year, and applaud the strong community involvement. AFI DOCS is a premier documentary film festival, and offers our volunteers a glimpse of how a film festival comes together from the inside. In exchange for the substantial commitment that AFI DOCS requires, volunteers earn access to screenings and a private volunteer-only screening/thank you party. Apply to join our group of fun, film-savvy folks as we work to make every Festival a fabulous success.
