Mission Statement

To create a series of activities and services to restore family values and at the same time improve the spiritual and economic situation of the community without consideration of age, gender or religion.

Description

Since 1995 La Roca has been a foster home for children in need. Within the last year, we have taken on the initiative to house single mothers and their children in an effort to show them the path so that they can help themselves. Our God given vision is to provide a healthy, supportive, Christ centered environment, where families can heal and develop a strong relationship with God. Our goal is that every woman that comes to La Roca will learn the necessary skills needed to become self-sufficient so that they will be able to care for themselves and for their families, spiritually and financially. Education is a huge part of our vision, therefore we provide schooling for all the children of La Roca, as well as for over 100 children from surrounding neighborhoods free of charge.
