Mission Statement

During the football season we employ several volunteer work groups to help us operate our novelty stands and stadium stores. Groups of 8 to 15 members sign on, get trained and get compensated $7.50 per volunteer per hour for the days they are scheduled to work. Most groups earn between $450 and $800 per gameday. The Redskins pay them by check, made out to the organization or non-profit group. This is part of our effort to assist community groups with an opportunity to fundraise.

Description

à ·Group workers will staff the Washington Redskins stadium retail locations, work the registers, and assist customers each home gameday. à ·Each group will need to provide 8 to 15 members and be prepared to work a set schedule of gamedays for the 2004 regular football season, including all night games. à ·Each group will need to provide the same core 5 or 6 group members who can attend all the gamedays the group is scheduled to work. à ·A compensation rate of $7.50 per worker per hour will be paid to each volunteer group. à ·Each group will need two leaders for the Retail Department to contact and one of these two must attend every gameday the group is scheduled to work. à ·Each group will be held responsible for all the cash and merchandise they handle when working a gameday. à ·Each group will need to attend a training and orientation session before the first home pre-season game, Saturday August 14th at 8:00 p.m.
