To focus all efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.

Description

For 25 years, KHS has taken in, fed, and cared for unwanted and abandoned companion animals throughout Kootenai County. Last year, 6,200 animals needed our help, creating an unparalleled challenge for our no-kill facility and our dedicated staff.
