GIVING ABILITY A CHANCE It is the mission of the Achievement Center of Texas to provide day care, day habilitation, educational assistance and community inclusion for children and young adults with disabilities so they can develop functional living skills and self-confidence working toward greater independence and a more satisfying way of life. WE ARE A DAY FACILITY FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN AND ADULTS. WE ARE THE ONLY LICENSED NONPROFIT DAY CARE CENTER IN THE DALLAS AREA SPECIALIZING IN PROVIDING DAY CARE AND DAY HABILITATION SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. A MAJORITY OF THE INDIVIUALS SERVED ARE PHYSICALLY,MENTALLY, OR EMOTIONALLS CHALLANGED. WE ARE STARTING OUR SUMMER PROGRAM JUNE 1ST WHICH ALLOWS US TO TAKE OUR CLIENTS OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY.
