The Defiance County Humane Society will continually demonstrate its commitment to the highest principles of humane care and professional treatment of all injured, ill, stray or unwanted animals. We will provide for their safety and comfort; alleviate their suffering; strive to place them in homes that will provide a quality lifetime commitment; discourage all forms of animal cruelty; educate the public; foster humane behavior towards animals and establish a mutually positive relationship with the community

Description

The Defiance County Humane Society is a county animal shelter working to provide care for the unwanted animals in Defiance and surrounding counties. Our long-term goals including providing spay/neuters for all outgoing animals, placing more animals, and educating the public about the good of spaying and neutering their pets.
