Mission Statement

The mission of ALIVE FOUNDATION is to bridge the wide gap in education, health and community development that exist between cities, towns and villages in Ghana through volunteer services. We believe that volunteers from within and outside a community can play a critical role in correcting this imbalance of resources that exist in our rural areas. Our goal is to use the energy, resources and the creativity of volunteers to improve the life of the people in our rural areas. It also recommended that there should be a proper and better education and other developmental ---- to mankind in all spheres of life.

Description

ALIVE FOUNDATION is a voluntary non-governmental and non-profit making organization based in Kumasi, the Garden City of West Africa- Ghana. It was founded by a group of volunteers who set out to bring the resources of Ghana and the International community to the most deprived communities of Ghana. The organization is registered under the Registrar Generals Department, as a Non-Governmental Organization (N.G.O.) and it has been incorporated under the Ghana Companies Code 1963 (ACT 179) and issued with certificate number G. 12, 984. The following are the aims and objectives for establishing the organization: To promote developmental processes in deprived communities by offering voluntary services. To inculcate the spirit of volunteerism into the youth. To provide education on HIV/AIDS menace. To promote cultural advancement through intercultural exchange programs. To promote women empowerment through skills acquisition. To provide any other social and educational programs.
