Brazos AHEC seeks to improve the health of the communities we serve by:

  • recruiting students into health care professions
  • facilitating community-based learning experiences for health professions students
  • establishing and supporting programs that recruit and retain health professionals
  • promoting healthy behavior in individuals, groups, and communities
  • facilitating evaluation, discussion, and decision-making to improve access to primary health care
