Agape seeks to offer a place of safety and hope, and illuminate a path to recovery and vitality.
Description
Agape Outreach Homes is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing housing and care for mentally ill men for more than 30 years. Agape Outreach Homes is unique in that we are one of only two organizations in East Tennessee that is classified as Enhanced Supported Housing. Enhanced Supported Housing is a group home that provides 24/7 supervision, education/training and resources to the residents it serves. We train 24 men on all daily living skills to help prepare individuals for living on their own. We partner with a day treatment program that offers educational classes about their mental illness, coping skills, and much more. Also offered are opportunities to acquire a GED, get a job, or even attend college. All this education and training helps provide a foundation for an individual to make a successful transition back into society.
