Mission Statement

New York City Siamese Rescue is an organization of volunteers who find homes for orphaned and abandoned Siamese cats and related breeds, such as Snowshoes and Balinese. Cats of all ages are available for adoption, from kittens all the way up to geezer-meezers.

Description

  • NYC Siamese Rescue, together with its sister organization Fostercats.org, has been rescuing and placing adoptable cats for over 6 years and has successfully placed more than 500 cats and kittens.
  • NYC Siamese Rescue retains a lifetime commitment to the animals in its care, even after they have been placed in adoptive homes, with continued contact, counseling, and, when needed, further re-homing.

Would you recommend NYC Siamese Rescue?

This is a great group but it is a very tiny venue which can get crowded at times, so you cannot be claustrophobic. Most of the volunteers have been supporting this cause loyally for years, but they still are very welcoming to newcomers. The cats are friendly and social, which is lovely to see!
