Mission Statement

Conserving and protecting wildlife and habitat through wildlife rehabilitation.

Description

The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council was founded in Walnut Creek, California in 1972 and has worked to support wildlife and provide a resource for wildlife rehabilitators ever since. Today, IWRC is comprised of veterinarians, rehabilitators, conservationists and other professionals from around the world, all commited to restoring the health, ensuring the welfare, and safeguarding the future of native wildlife.
