Mission Statement

Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition (Mid-Pen) is a leading non-profit that develops and manages affordable rental housing for over 14,000 low-income families, seniors, and people with special needs in eight counties in the San Francisco and Monterey Bay region. To support the needs of its residents, Mid-Pen created its services department in 1993 and incorporated Mid-Peninsula Housing Services Corporation (Mid-Pen Services) in 2001. It is the mission of Mid-Pen and Mid-Pen Services to provide safe, affordable shelter of high quality to those in need; to establish stability and opportunity in the lives of residents; and to foster communities that allow people from all ethnic, social and economic backgrounds to live in dignity, harmony and mutual respect.
