The Department of Leisure Services takes a proactive approach in promoting support for parks and recreational opportunities in the community, and continues to improve the delivery of recreational and cultural services to persons of all ages, abilities and social diversity.

Description

The programming that occurs in our facilities includes classes, concerts, kids camos, summer fun, kid carnivals, Corporate Challenge, art festivals, park carnivals, films, lectures, organized sports events, Safekey, special events and more. These programs are designed to provide a balance of no-cost, low-cost and self-supporting programs that serve all parts of our community.
