Mission Statement

To maintain the 1936 art deco Lark Theater as a nonprofit, single screen, state of the art community film center to enhance the artistic, cultural and social life of Marin County with quality independent film, international film, classic & family film, film festivals and multi cultural events.

Description

We feel it is important to bring the powerful medium of independent film back to local towns to create a more meaningful social life, add to our cultural diversity and provide a comfortable location for independent artistic expression. The landscape of downtown historical Larkspur has gotten new life with the reopening of the art deco theater building.
