Global Security Institute

Description

The Global Security Institute has developed an exceptional team that includes former heads of state and government, distinguished diplomats, effective politicians, committed celebrities, religious leaders, Nobel Peace Laureates, and concerned citizens. This team works to achieve incremental steps that enhance security and lead to the global elimination of nuclear weapons. GSI works through four result-oriented program areas that target specific influential constituencies. Programs and their constituencies: 1) Bipartisan Security Group (BSG): Members of Congress and their staff; 2) Disarmament & Peace Education (DPE): Leaders in the global community; à à à 3) Middle Powers Initiative (MPI): Heads of Government, diplomats and other officials around the world; and à à à 4) Parliamentary Network for Nuclear Disarmament (PNND): Legislators around the world.
