Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide resources that support the restoration, maintenance and development of Terrace Hill as a premier historic Iowa landmark and as an educational center for current and future generations.

Description

Terrace Hill is a National Historic Landmark and the Iowa Governor's Residence. This 1869 Second Empire Victorian mansion is a cultural and historic attraction in addition to being home to Iowa's Governor and family. Terrace Hill is open for public tours Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., March through December.
