Mission Statement

Our mission is to protect, conserve, and restore, the populations of sea turtles that use the marine environment of Costa Rica to either nest, feed, or migrate. We also work to protect the diverse habitats along the Central American isthmus and international waters upon which they depend during their different life stages.

Description

PRETOMA is a Non Profit Civil Association, formally constituted in 1997 (CJ 3-002-212657), with headquarters in San Jose, Costa Rica. We are biologists, naturalists, conservationists, and citizens concerned over the plight of the sea turtles and the marine habitat in general.
