Mission Statement

Culture, Consciousness & Benevolence â  the three-fold mission of the organization: 1) to recognize the diverse Caribbean-African-American community that resides within New Jersey, 2) to raise consciousness about the educational aspirations of inner-city youth, and 3) to create a platform for giving back to the community.

Description

Founded in 1994, CCB International is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that has awards college scholarships to high school students of Caribbean-African-American heritage throughout New Jersey. The scholarships are based on the results of a competitive application process. Award recipients are determined by their academic achievement, commitment to community service, participation in extracurricular activities and demonstrated financial need.
