Oregon Health Career Center

Description

Founded in 1994, the Oregon Health Career Center is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing disadvantaged young people to careers in health. Through dynamic partnerships with healthcare providers, schools and community organizations, we offer a broad range of programs designed to introduce and prepare disadvantaged k-16 grade students for healthcare occupations, address critical healthcare workforce shortages and strengthen services to underserved populations. Our programs help students stay in school and assist them in becoming academically prepared for post secondary education and training in the health professions.
