Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County, Inc. is a non-profit organization working in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life to build decent, affordable housing with God's people in need.

Description

Habitat for Humanity builds new homes with low-income families who are not able to afford a house by other means. After construction, the family begins a zero-interest mortgage to pay for the house. In other words, Habitat does NOT give away hand-outs!
