Mission Statement

Founded in 1958, HOBY's mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation. HOBY programs are conducted annually throughout the United States, serving local and international high school students. HOBY programs provide youth selected by their schools to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences.

Description

Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) of Northern California is a volunteer run organization that works year round to plan leadership programs for high school students. Our primary event is a 3-day Seminar for 100 sophomores from across Northern California, to be held this year in June at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. HOBY of Northern California is looking to fill a variety of volunteer positions, from the Corporate Board, to Leadership Seminar Planning Committee, to seminar weekend-only volunteers. All volunteers must be 21 or older.
