Description

MCB is a 501c(3) organization whose main purpose is to educate the public about the dangers of littering and how to recycle, reuse and reduce waste. We provide field trips for elementary school students to our Waste Education Station classroom where they study about the effects of littering in every aspect of their lives and what they can do to help eliminate the problems caused by litter. We also teach water conservation, composting with yard and kitchen wastes and they tour a recycling center. Adults are given opportunities to have a program for their group, club or business utilizing speakers by the Coordinator and/or Board Member. We also stress cleanliness of our communities and provide assistance in beautification projects.
