Founded by the children of Aldo Leopold, the Aldo Leopold Foundation works towards Leopold's vision of a 'Land Ethic'. The Foundation carries out programs in environmental education, land stewardship, and scientific research. The centerpiece of the Foundation's activities is the historic 'Shack' and surrounding land.
