Mission Statement

DNDA and Youngstown

The Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) is a private, non-profit located in the community of Delridge. To preserve affordable housing in this community, we own 8 multi-family properties which make up 161 units of affordable housing.

DNDA also owns and runs the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, housing the offices of eight non-profit organizations (Arts Corps, Nature Consortium, Power of Hope, the Service Board, SW Interagency Academy, Twelfth Night Productions, Youth Media Institute and the West Seattle Tool Library) as well as 32 units of Affordable housing for artists and their families. Youngstown hosts the free "All Access" program for teens which offers after school classes in everything from break dancing to glee to music production. Our 152 seat performance venue theatre, movement (dance) studio and other rentable spaces provide space for local and national groups to hold concerts, plays, classes and community meetings. A sampling of recent performances: the Cabiri’s "Winternacht", Quiet Productions "Bean the Musical Fruit", and The Manhattan Dance Project’s Dance workshops.
