Mission Statement

To provide educational representation to special education students whose parents are unavailable.

Description

The Educational Surrogate Parent Program recruits, trains and appoints volunteers to represent the educational needs of students in state custody. Educational Surrogate Parents collaborate with DSS, school personnel and community providers to support students, access services and promote positive academic outcomes.
