Helping at LALA is rewarding; the school staff is so grateful for volunteers. I’m part of a team that spends 2 hours a week so that the High School Library is available for students during their lunch hour. No special skills required, but it helps to be able to handle teenagers. Street parking, very little bureaucracy for volunteers. It feels good to give back to kids who will be first in their families to attend college.
