Mission Statement

Beckstrand Cancer Foundation's mission is," Improving and Enhancing the Quality of Life for Cancer Patients and their Families" Dr. Beckstrand brought the most advance understanding and skill in cancer treatment to our area. It didn't take long for local cancer patients and their families to hear about and take advantage of his skills. Many families expressed their appreciation by donating monies, placed in a special account, to help those who were in need.

Description

In 1974, The Beckstrand Cancer Foundation was formed by incorporation as a non-profit organization The foundation took his name in honor of Doctor Beckstrand's distinguished service to literally thousand of cancer patients in the southwestern United States. The designated purpose of the foundation is to continue the high principle long ago established by the noted physician of channeling funds donated by patients, their relatives and friends to the direct aid of others in need in essence, a person-to-person sharing in cancer care, education and research.
