Mission Statement

To promote awareness and support of select charities whose scope of operation is within the New York City Metropolitan area... Metrofly Vision : Metrofly is an idependent non profit organization that promotes awareness of and raises funds for select New York City Charities. Utilizing a variety of creative means that empower both charity and community, Metrofly's vision is to create events that nurture community spirit, benefit philanthropic and humanistic causes, and bring people together for the betterment of all... Metrofly was formed in September of 2003 with the purpose of creating an entirely new model of charity focused programs and events. A 501 (c) 3 non profit organization incorporated in the state of New York, Metroflyà  à  s à  à  Adopt a Charityà  à  program is committed to giving back and connecting with the community. Metrofly is a volunteer based organization and is funded strictly through the generosity of its donors and a small retained percentage of revenue. 100 percent of the profits generated from our programs are donated to the Metrofly partnered charity... Charity : We screen and select our charity beneficiaries based on their causes, finances, scope of operation, and size. Metrofly supports only those charities without political, religious or ethnic ties. Each charity agrees to allocate donated funds directly to its cause and not toward administrative expenses... Objectives : 1. Promoting Awareness... Our primary objective is to promote awareness of our partnered charity. This is accomplished through a variety of promotional methods such as extensive emailings and specifically targeted public relations campaigns aimed at select print and electronic media outlets... We encourage public participation and provide an online forum for postings of charity and community events and needs... 2. Fundraising... In order to maximize our efforts, we conduct a month long fundraising campaign for each charity. Our innovative à ¢à  Adopt a Charityà  à  program includes unique themed events, a retail affiliate program, and online donation processing. .. Metrofly organizes a variety of events which appeal to a broad demographic. These events are held throughout Manhattan at venues that are prescreened on the basis of popularity, atmosphere, ownership cooperation, and location. Our Party With a Purposeà  à  Monthly Gala is combined with themed events including live music concerts, and more.
