Description
The AFA Leeza's Place of Manhattan is a joint partnership between The Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA). Leeza's Place has been designed to educate, empower and energize both caregivers and the recently diagnosed, and to offer hope for a more fulfilling future. It is a community-based support center for all those affected by a memory disorder no matter what the cause - Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke or any other disorder. Leeza's Place offers educational and creative workshops, support groups, counseling from AFA certified social workers, a media library and many other innovative and informative activities.
