Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic has been founded to provide access to alternative complementary modalities of treatment for low income women with cancer. By providing these services, we hope to empower women to have control over their lives and health care choices. Through this work we will also educate the community at large about cancer and about health care as a human right. The clinic is founded specifically to treat women because of the particular social, economic, and political realities women face in our society and in relation to the health care system.
The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic (CMC) is a state licensed, primary care holistic health clinic which provides free complementary alternative treatments (CAM) to low income women who have cancer.
These services are made possible by the CMC Volunteers who are the sole providers of the complementary alternative medicine treatments as well as the logistical clinic support. We are the only clinic of this kind in the nation.
