The SEED School of Washington, D.C. provides students with a learning environment that integrates activities both inside and outside the classroom to prepare students for college and the professional world beyond.

Description

The SEED Public Charter School of Washington, DC is a tuition-free college preparatory boarding school that is dedicated to college preparation both inside and outside the classroom. SEED's six-year program prides itself on developing students for college and the professional world beyond through a combination of a rigorous academic curriculum, comprehensive life skills courses and wide-ranging enrichment opportunities. All students live on campus, enabling them to benefit from an integrated curriculum that incorporates academic, extracurricular, and life skills. The SEED School is located in the community, which increases parental involvement and reinforces SEED's mission of helping children by revitalizing inner-cities. SEED PCS integrates key factors for educational success, including rigorous academic and life skills program, active parent participation, and a safe and nurturing living environment.
