Mission Statement

The Community Technology Initiative consists of several ongoing City of Austin projects in partnership with various public and private organizations, aimed at bringing the benefits of communications technology to all members of the community. These are coordinated by the Office of Telecommunications and Regulatory Affairs (TARA).

Description

The City of Austin Grant for Technology Opportunities (GTOPs) provides money to Austin organizations and citizens' groups for projects focusing on digital opportunities and bridging the digital divide.
