Mission Statement

Child Support Services -- As the official child support enforcement agency for the State of Texas, the Office of the Attorney General provides services for parents who wish to obtain or provide support for their children. The Child Support Division determines, on a case-by-case basis, which of the child support services listed below are appropriate: *Locating a non-custodial parent * establishing paternity * establishing and enforcing child support orders * Establising and enforcing medical support orders * Reviewing and adjusting child support payments * collecting and distributing child support payments

Description

Volunteer and intern recruitment provides our full time staff with invaluable support and assistance in processing volume caseloads and completing other important functions of the Division. At the same time, volunteers, representing youth, senior citizens, college students and other interested person, gain experience and marketable skills as well as knowledge of the child support system.
