Description

Call + Response/Slavery Footprint is a non-profit organization whose goal is to generate awareness and action for the issues of forced labor, slavery, and human trafficking. In addition to our feature film, Call + Response, we’ve also produced a documentary with CNN and launched an innovative lifestyle survey called Slavery Footprint. We work with the U.S. State Department, MTV, Google, and several prominent NGO’s in the field. We’ve been featured on CNN, The New York Times, TIME and many other media outlets.

Our office is located right off the 12th street BART station in downtown Oakland.

We’re looking for some passionate people to join our team. Most internships are unpaid; school credit is available. Interns should be able to commit 10 to 20 hours per week, on average. The exact dates of the internship will depend on individual availability. Many of our interns have gone to paid positions in our organization and related organizations in the field of human rights.
