Mission Statement

Mission: To change the way America cares for her children and familes. Values: Old-fashioned love and respect and new-fashioned science. Vision: To bring healing and hope.

Description

We have three home/school-based programs that provide trained consultants to help families whose children are at-risk. Girls and Boys Town consultants work with families on a short-term basis to help them provide a safe, healthy environment for their children by focusing on strengths, becoming self-sufficient, improving parenting techniques, developing problem solving skills, opening lines of communication, learning to access needed community resources, and achieving basic goals. History: Girls and Boys Town, formerly known as Father Flanagan's Boys Home, founded in 1917, is a national, nonprofit, non-sectarian charity engaged in the care and treatment of at-risk children and families. Girls and Boys Town has 18 sites nationally, including our office in Palm Beach County, founded in 1991. Girls and Boys Town's main campus is headquartered at Boys Town, Nebraska, a National Historic Landmark.
