• Operate a no kill shelter

• Rescue and care for stray and homeless household pets.

• Promote the importance of spaying/neutering.

• Place animals with loving and adoptive homes.

• Educate the public in the proper care and nutrition of all animals.

• Rehabilitate feral cats and work towards a common sense approach to trap, neuter, and release programs.

Description

Webster's House Animal Shelter, aka The Animal Rescue and Protection Society, Inc. (TARPS) opened its doors in the Fall of 2000. Located in Chester Vermont, TARPS is a nonprofit. We are manned solely by volunteers as a no kill shelter. Our funding is by the generous donations of people and businesses in our local and state-wide community.
