Mission Statement

Incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational foundation in March 1996, the Learning Fund Foundation (LFF) enables District 103 (D103) to expand and enhance educational opportunities and programs for students at all levels in each of the three schools: Laura B. Sprague School (EC), Half Day School (3-4) and Daniel Wright Jr. High School (5-8). These programs are designed to extend beyond the everyday curriculum and district operating budgets to enrich the educational experience of every child in D103.

Description

With the generous support of our district parents, community, corporate and business partners, the Learning Fund Foundation has funded several major projects for the school district. The recent completion of the Digital Classroom Initiative included the installation of Smart Board technology into all 76 teaching classrooms in District 103. The new initiative for 2011 is SCIENCE!
