Mission Statement

The purpose of the Corporation shall be to provide education in the performing arts, to encourage and promote the involvement of the community in the performing arts, and to produce quality plays, musical entertainment, and dance, for members of the East Mountain community.

Description

Sandia Performing Arts Company, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, based in Sandia Park and Tijeras was formed April of 2010 for the residents of the great East Mountain community in New Mexico. Many production opportunities await in the fair city of Albuquerque, but SPAC is striving to provide a variety of entertainment in our own neighborhood. We produce melodramas, variety shows, live theatre and family entertainment. We provide sound educational programs for children and adults in the performing arts at an affordable cost to the participants through our after school programs and weekend workshops. Many of our events are based in the centrally located Village of Tijeras to provide convenience for our audiences and volunteers. We hope to see you, whether it be as an audience member, actor, back stage technician or friend. Come play with us....we'd love to have you!
