Mission Statement

Cinematexas desires to offer people exposure to the arts that would otherwise remain unknown.

Description

Cinematexas was started in 1995 by University of Texas students with the desire to exhibit their films. The festival quickly expaned to include an international competition as well. Now entering its 9th year, Cinematexas includes sidebars that deal with films, music, art, performance art, politics and much much more.
