Mission Statement

The Michigan Theater Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to operate, preserve, and maintain the historic Michigan Theater for the benefit of the community and the arts.

Description

Ann Arbor's Michigan Theater combines living history with a singular dedication to the finest film and live entertainment available today. We offer two auditoriums: the Historic Theater and the Screening Room. You can find out more and also take one of our illustrated tours on our website. View the theater today after its loving restoration, and learn about its history and about a Michigan treasure: the Barton Theatre Pipe Organ, one of the only theater organs in existence that is still played in its original home on a regular basis.
