Mission Statement

Ensuring the safety, healing, and self-sufficiency of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and exploitation, child and elder abuse through easily accessible, coordinated, comprehensive, culturally sensitive services. The Alameda County Family Justice Center (ACFJC) and its partner organizations provide a gateway to safety, healing, and self-reliance for victims of domestic violence. The ACFJC serves as the heart of a comprehensive service delivery system that is inclusive and multi-cultural. Together, ACFJC partners deliver coordinated services that are easily accessible through one location. We advocate for and construct a future where there is zero tolerance for domestic violence in Alameda County.

Description

The Alameda County Family Justice Center (ACFJC) is a community initiative launched in 2005 to provide comprehensive services for adults and children exposed to and impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and exploitation, child abuse, elder and dependent adult abuse, and stalking. The ACFJC has 30 agencies and partners under one roof who provide services designed for victims and their families including crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, legal assistance, counseling, empowerment programs, children's programs, and information and linkages to other community-based services.
