AARP is a nonprofit membership organization of persons 50 and older dedicated to addressing their needs and interests. We seek through education, advocacy and service to enhance the quality of life for all by promoting independence, dignity and purpose.

AARP is the nation's leading organization for people age 50 and older. It serves their needs and interests through our primary areas of expertise and proven success through: Information and education; Legislative, judicial and consumer advocacy; Community services; and member services that are provided by a network of local chapters and experienced volunteers throughout the country.
