The mission of Work & Learn Inc is to enable adults to experience the power of Christ to transform their life. Our method is a Change-Your-Life Ministry℠ with a free, virtual Know-How to Change-Your-Life℠ course. The course presents Biblical Values linked with Career Skills and Action Steps. Participants are matched with a Mentor and with a Career Coach.
The Work & Learn Change-Your-Life Ministry℠ course is used by Churches and Ministries. These can include Church Groups, Domestic Violence Shelters, Pro-Life Centers, Homeless Shelters, Addiction Recover Houses, Halfway Houses, Transitional Housing Re-entry Programs, Neighborhood Leaders and Foreign Missions. They are able to add the Change-Your-Life Ministry℠ to their own ministry for those they serve. They enroll one or more Participants in need, a Mentor and a Career Coach. We encourage enrolling "the least of these." Individual Participants, Mentors and Career Coaches may also enroll. We will match them in a small group.
Classes meet once a week online on Zoom for about 90 minutes. Each class presents one of 12 Biblical Values and a related Career Skill. Each group has its own weekly meeting in a breakout session for small group discussion.
Graduates achieve spiritual strengthening with a personal career action plan. We've conducted the 12-week course 24 times. The most recent course was virtual.
