Greenfox is an organization that empowers youth to create a sustainable world through the Greenfox5: Energy, Waste, Food, Products, and Greenspace

The Greenfox5 model is an easy way for young people to understand sustainability issues. It is a holistic model that encompasses all aspects of sustainability in five categories: Energy, Waste. Food, Products, and Greenspace. This allows students to see the big picture, while providing them a framework to think creatively within those categories to problem solve and create innovative solutions.

Description

Greenfox works closely with schools to implement the Greenfox5 model through curriculum, programs, and operations. Students are equipped with concrete methods to change their schools, homes, and communities. We work to evaluate all aspects of a school’s operations in order to create a learning environment where sustainability values and behavior are reflected in the building space.

By teaching youth the Greenfox5 and putting those principles to actual use in a vast array of curricular and service projects both large and small, students as young as 5 and as old as 25 can become better stewards of their own environment as well as teach others how to care for the planet. We provide curriculum, presentations, workshops, audits, classes, after school programs, service projects, and university clubs.
