Georgia Center for Humane Education

Mission Statement

GeorgiaCenterfor Humane Education (GCHE) serves as a

central resource for Humane Education and Outreach. GCHE’s

professional staff works in partnership with local and national

animal protection organizations, as well as organizations

devoted to Character Education. GCHE ensures program

accessibility to schools and groups that seek Humane

Education forums or ongoing programs.

GCHE staff members have volunteered for many years in

Humane Education, Character Education, and animal

protection. The cumulative experience acquired by staff

members has led them to see the need for a centralized

resource for Humane Education.
