Mission Statement


The mission of the Norristown Area Education
Foundation (NAEF) is to provide independent financial funding to support
challenging and enriching innovations that will maximize the learning potential
of all students in the Norristown Area School District.

Description


NAEF raises money to fund innovative programs throughout the Norristown Area School District, like robotics, SmartBoards in every classroom and an iMac Lab. We also give mini grants to teachers.

The Norristown Area Education Foundation is made up of a
Board of Directors who lend their time, talents and financial support to the Foundation. This group of dedicated individuals saw the need for a staff person and the first Executive Director was hired in 2011. Our Board also includes two Student Representatives.

NAEF allows Norristown Area School District teachers, students and parents to dream a little. When members of our school community
think of new, innovative projects and teaching tools, NAEF is there to help
provide the financial resources to make those dreams a reality.
