Mission Statement

KPI was established with a mission to bring hope to the Filipino youth by: 1) Providing an opportunity to financially challenged Filipino youth to finish their primary, secondary, tertiary, or vocational education through financial assistance, sponsor networking, or scholarship information and assistance; 2) Providing developmental and/or training programs, activities, or events that would support or enhance the grantees' experience as KPI scholars; 3) Providing other acts of charity to help other sectors of the society particularly the youth to cope up with poverty, disaster, or misfortune; and, 4) Pro-actively promoting the enhancement of the quality of Philippine education in the belief that "education" is the answer to the country's progress and development and people empowerment.

Description

Kabataang-Pilipino, Inc. or KPI is a non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization duly registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). KPI envisions itself to be a catalyst of Philippine development through education and become a model organization for other individuals or organizations in conveying the message that the Filipino youth is worth helping. At present, KPI's flagship program is the Kabataang-Pilipino Scholarship Program which provides financial assistance to elementary, high school, and college students. Moreover, starting SY 2003-2004, KPI have begun providing special scholarship grants to disabled or handicapped students in order to give them an opportunity to overcome their conditions and become more productive members of the society.
