LEAF seeks to provide specialized instruction before and after school for kindergarteners through fifth graders. We provide a place for children to learn, play, and grow outside of school.
LEAF is a new before and after school program offered to children at Thornton Creek School in the Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle. Thornton Creek is an alternative public school and LEAF tries to uphold a similar standard for experiential education within the programs offered. We have specialized instructors who teach different specialties each week, such as arts/crafts, music, writing, cooking, and more! In addition to our daily specialized instruction, we also offer help with homework, quiet time, and indoor/outdoor free time. LEAF is a great place for volunteers who would like to share their passions with some amazing elementary school children!
